Ken Sater
Ken Sater is “Creative Home Visions” co-founder. Ken grew up in San Jose, California and in early 2008 relocated to Oceanside, California. Ken enjoyed a 14 year career in the insurance industry, followed by an eighteen year career working in the mortgage banking industry.
Ken has personally purchased many homes and enjoyed decorating them to live in. And, when it became time to sell, they all sold quickly ( even in a buyer's market) and some for far above the asking price. Neighbors constantly asked, “What did you do to get your home sold so fast?” Ken always enjoyed making a house feel like a home and found the work to be fun and very rewarding. He began to realize that others didn’t see what he saw when decorating.
In 2006, Ken received a call that would change his life. His best friend, Dave, had just passed away six months before this call. Dave’s wife had been diagnosed with breast cancer and was told she would not survive the year. She was calling to ask for help. The house payments were impossible to continue making on her retirement income and she was distraught. The home had been listed for sale for almost 9 months with no offers.
Ken, and his partner, Lynne, drove 3 hours to offer their help and stayed 3 days! After painting, de-cluttering and staging the home, it was ready to show. The listing agent was invited back after staging to see the changes. He immediately requested a broker tour of the agents in his office and interest in the home soared. The listing price was immediately increased over $40,000 after staging and re-listed at the new asking price. Within 2 weeks of the changes, she received multiple offers and the home closed escrow within 30 days. Dave’s wife was so thankful, she cried when she saw her home after the staging was completed… and then again at the close of escrow when she received her money! She said she felt “so blessed” because the sale happened so quickly, after months of worry when there was no activity. But Ken also found what had been missing. The true joy of helping others through staging!
Within weeks, “Creative Home Visions” was born from this unlikely event and with his partner, Lynne, Ken has never looked back. The reward he feels from every staging project just keeps pushing him to help as many others as he can to achieve the same results.
Lynne Doloresco
Lynne Doloresco is the other co-founder of “Creative Home Visions”. The business has become the go-to "full service” home staging organization you need to call when it’s time to sell your home quickly. (as featured on FOX and CBS Television Specials).
Lynne has had the opportunity to live in Japan. As a result, the artistic talents of the Japanese, their culture, form, function and traditions had a profound effect on her artistic sensibilities. This experience carried over and she now uses her creative and design talents in the home staging arena.
She instinctively recognizes those areas in which a home may require special attention or repair. Lynne’s background in interior design, textiles, upholstery and pottery allows her to bring a unique perspective to every home she stages.
Lynne’s specialty has become the innovative re-design of fireplaces, often making them the focal points within the staged homes. Lynne enjoys the freedom of creating a specific look for each home based upon the home's unique characteristics and surrounding landscape.
Lynne looks forward to the challenges presented by each project. “Paying it forward..” is her motto and she sees staging as a way to help others in obtaining their goals to sell their homes quickly with a happy outcome.
