Getting Started

The process begins with a Consultation: Creative Home Visions will come to your home for a 2-3 hour consultation. The consultation begins with an initial walk through of your home to view the home's layout, style and architectural detail. That is immediately followed with a detailed walk through of each room.

THE DETAILED WALK THROUGH INCLUDES:

• Listing of repairs to be made
• Listing of items to be cleaned
• De-Cluttering ( including rearranging mantels, display cases and book cases)
• Recommendations for rearrangement of existing furniture or rental furniture to be brought in
• Lighting
• Addressing window treatments
• Suggestions for organizing closets and storage area
• Discussion regarding paint colors ( if necessary)
• Curb appeal, overall landscaping, garage and storage sheds

You can determine at the end of the consultation which parts of the staging project you will need Creative Home Vision's involvement in. In staging your home, Creative Home Visions will make every effort to use your existing furniture and accessories. If you plan to use Ken or Lynne's suggestions on your own, we can provide a list of contact names and phone numbers of some of the tradesman we are familiar with and have used in the past. If rental furniture needs to be brought in or any purchases need to be made, Ken and Lynne will discuss various options with you and how each process works.

Creative Home Visions does not keep its own inventory of furniture despite having staged hundreds of homes. Ken and Lynne prefer to source items specifically for each home and its target market, making your home special and unique to your competition.
